Our Story

My journey into the world of four-legged angels began in 2017 when my son, Rishabh, insisted we get a dog at home. After much reluctance, I gave in and got our first dog. Tyga, a beagle by breed, was probably the best introduction I could have got in this field of love, care, happiness, and responsibility. 

Being a perfectionist, I wanted to get this right. I hired an expert trainer to understand Tyga better. Not only was Vinod excellent at teaching my son and me all that we needed to know about Tyga, but he also introduced us to the world of dog shows. Being intelligent and good-looking, Tyga won many awards in the forthcoming years.  

Fascinated with all that I had learnt, I was keen to share this knowledge with others. That’s when I decided to turn my passion into my new business. This is how Doggersstop was born. 

I did not want Doggersstop to be a mere pet-food shop. Of course, we offer pet food, toys, accessories, customized offerings, grooming, and much more, what’s special about Doggersstop is the way we share valuable information with our clients. From educating pet parents/owners about skincare to the right foods and supplements to giving their pet the best grooming experience, we provide them a holistic experience. 

When a client comes to thank us for the excellent trainer we suggested to them or the right food or bed we picked for their pet, it feels good to know that we have stayed true to our mission - Delivering pet happiness. 

Four years in this field, we still have clients who came to us from the moment we started Doggersstop in a lush green, quiet lane in Borivali West. As the crowds got bigger, the space got smaller, so we have doubled the length and breadth of this dreamworld for pets. With four grooming stations, long stretches of separate dog and cat food and accessory sections, there is much to explore for all kinds of dogs, cats and birds.
